Course Brief

This German course A1 (A1-1/A1-2) is designed for adults without prior knowledge. They develop their language skills, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. Reading and listening comprehension, country literacy, writing and speaking. Multilingualism and mother tongue are included as often as possible.

Course Overview:

• Introduction of Self and others, contact details, lands and Languages
• Hobbies, meetings, jobs, professions, seasons, Profile on internet
• Places, buildings, giving & asking for directions, transport, communication
• Food, grocery, shopping lists, eating, buying/selling
• Time and clocks, arranging meetings, family, telephonic conversations
• Planning, outings, birthdays, invitations, ordering in restaurants, activities.
• Arrange meetings, give and follow instructions, letter writing, understanding conversations.
• Apartments, planning furnishing, house warming, likes & dislikes, living forms, text writing.
• Talking about daily routine, past, jobs advertisements, jobs, work place, study & interviews.
• Clothes, shopping, related conversations, shops, stalls, floors in shopping centers in Berlin.
• Personal information, body parts, exercise, health tips, instructions, illness & medicine.
• City tour, weather, travel information, hotel problems, postcards landmarks & sightseeing.

Customized, intensive, short term, goal oriented, topic-specific courses and workshops offered for companies, students, travelers, and business personnel.

Course Methodology

While learning the language, the German culture will be taught by practical activities, events and projects.
